Sydney by Boat – Part 1

While on holidays a few  months ago, I got to do something in photography I had been wanting to do for quite a while

Take photos from a boat with my own driver that will take me wherever my eye takes me  ……. Ok so it was our boat! 🙂

It was quite a treat! I have spent many hours going into work in the city via ferry but to have my own path and the ability to slow down to take pictures was just perfect!

We started at Five Dock wharf and snaked our way onto the harbour, around the back of Spectacle Island, Cockatoo island, then north crossing the harbour to start up the Lane Cove River

I had taken all the famous tourist shots before so I was looking for something different, something that I had not seen before and I live here.

Putting around in a small boat taking photographs definitely gave a new perspective of anti-shake as we were bounced around by passing boats

And of course our trip ended with the mandatory BBQ on the river
